I'm a solo self taught developer, I started creating IOS apps as a way to challenge myself and learn new skills. Every app is built for a different reason and with each one I've tried to challenge myself to learn something new.

Learn More →I'm a self-taught iOS developer that started coding as a challenge and an outlet and a way of exploring my own creativity. My journey into app development started as a personal challenge, and it's grown into a fulfilling way to continuously learn and push my boundaries.
Each app I build serves a different purpose and presents unique challenges. Whether it's helping people have better conversations, organizing their meal planning, or something entirely new, I try to approach every project with curiosity and a commitment to learning something new.
Building iOS apps allows me to combine creativity with problem-solving. Every feature I design, every line of code I write, and every user interaction I craft is an opportunity to learn and grow. These side projects aren't just apps—they're my way of challenging myself and expanding my skills while having fun. First and foremost I build these apps for myself and I share them in case anyone else can use them. Any costs or subscriptions associated with an app are purely for me to be able to pay any costs associated with the app itself.
Full credit for the idea goes to my wife, maybe inspired a little by "How I met your mother" and the concept of long term bets. What healthy relationship doesn't have a little bit of competitive edge to it. Now we finally have a way to truly keep score and see who's right. This app is so fun for me because it represents how far I've come and everything I've learned so far. I still have so much more to learn but being able to start fresh and apply all my learnings into a blank slate has been so rewarding. It's the first time I've had a pretty complete idea of the app from the start and been able to set out to build it. I think this represents my cleanest experience to date and we've since expanded it to our friend group so we can all keep track of the phrase " I bet you…"
Started out as an idea with my friend Srikar to be able to have a continuation of a dating app such as bumble outside of the app. We had the original idea over 3 years ago and it serves as my first attempt to ever develop an application. This project has run so long that learning to build it has evolved from watching YouTube videos to being able to use AI to continue and improve the code itself. The idea and experience has evolved and I’ve learned to so much along the way it’s incredible to look back and see how far I’ve come.
Olive truly started as a passion project and is the first time that I tried to set out and build something to solve a problem that I have myself. This represents a blending of my two hobbies between cooking and building these apps. Every week I would sit down and try to build a menu and a grocery list. While there’s no shortage of these applications on the market for whatever reason none of the experiences fit exactly what I wanted and I found myself resorting back to pen and paper every time. I will forever be the main user for Olive, while I love other feedback and ideas I built this app for myself and shared it out in case anyone else finds some use. By far my most ambitious project to date and its so rewarding to look back at older sections of code and see how much I’ve learned and evolved through just one app.
